Universe
Universe is a senior stylist and co-owner of Scarlet Salon. She completed the apprenticeship program at festoon salon where she went on to become a stylist and educator.
She does both cut and color, specializing in creative cuts, razor cuts, and is particularly passionate about curly hair. Universe continues to advance her training while staying inspired with current trends and classics. She has had advanced training in with vidal sassoon, sally rogerson, oribe, davines, deva curl and many more. She is dedicated to creating custom cut and color for each and every one of her clients.

Brittany
Brittany is a stylist and co-owner of Scarlet Salon. Brittany has been doing hair professionally for 11 years. Brittany is Paul Mitchell trained, she started her career by completing the apprentice program at Festoon Salon where she went on to help with the educational program teaching hair cutting and color.
Brittany is one of our haircut specialists she believes there’s a bang shape for every face and texture. Shags, pixies, layers and creative haircuts are Brittany’s true passion! Brittany loves working with wavy hair textures and her favorite tool is her straight razor. Brittany takes the time to create a unique and exceptional haircut and color for every client.
Brittany is highly skilled in hair color, she enjoys highlights, hair painting, grey blending and color block. Brittany loves meeting new clients with a calm attentive approach making them feel their absolute best with a stylish cut and color that’s tailored just for them.
Brittany is passionate about hair and continues to take advanced education classes in both haircutting and color techniques. She enjoys sharing and applying creative new trends. Brittany has had advanced training classes through Vidal Sassoon, Sally Rogerson, Deva Curl, Bumble & Bumble, Davines, and many more talented educators.

Samantha
Samantha dale is a veteran hairstylist, beginning her career as a teenager in Los Angeles. from there, Samantha expanded into editorial styling for runway shows, ad campaigns, and magazines. Her work has appeared in Instyle magazine, echo’s, and refinery29, as well as este lauder and ford ad campaigns. Samantha has also worked in New York and Las Vegas, and enjoys using this range of experience to help her clients discover their inner and outer beauty. She’s been committed to continuing education throughout her career, giving her a strong foundation in classic shapes and textures with a keen eye for new trends. Samantha has completed advanced education with Vidal Sassoon, Oribe, Sally Rogerson, Sharon Blain, and Candy Shaw. Samantha also is experienced in multiple color lines including Davines, Wella, and L’oreal professional. her experience with textured hair and her cutting skills have earned Samantha a loyal following Scarlet salon and Harper Paige.—

Hethur
After becoming licensed, Hethur pursued a mentorship at Dekko salon in San Francisco to be trained in Toni and guy methodology and later mentored with a Vidal Sassoon/Sally Rogerson/Deva curly-cut trained stylist. She has received advanced education through Davines, Innersense and L’oréal’ professional and continues to invest in her career through ongoing education. Hethur loves creating individual looks for each client, whether you’re looking for vivids/creative color, balayage, razor cutting, a curly cut or a modern look-you will walk out the best version of yourself. She continues building her skills and knowledge by attending ongoing advanced education. Hethur listens and hears her clients needs and works to make their goals a reality, while maintaining honest and realistic expectations. Her passion for hair and learning exceeds all else

Marlee
Marlee has been a curly specialist for over a decade catering to clients in both L.A. and the Bay Area, she has honed her expertise in curly hair care and styling, making her a go-to resource for those looking to embrace their natural curls.
Marlee is not just a skilled curl specialist but also an Innersense Organic Beauty educator, deeply passionate about promoting natural and organic hair care.
Her commitment to using organic, sustainable products reflects her dedication to not only achieving beautiful hairstyles but also promoting eco-conscious practices within the beauty industry.
When Marlee isn't transforming her clients' hair, she dedicates her time to staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in organic hair care. Her genuine love for educating others about the benefits of using natural products shines through in her work, as she encourages her clients to adopt healthy and sustainable hair care routines. With her warm and approachable demeanor, Marlee creates a nurturing environment where her clients can not only achieve their dream hairstyles but also gain valuable knowledge about maintaining their hair's health and natural beauty.

Eden
Eden is a Bay Area native with over 7 years in the industry and a passion for transformation. She loves lived-in and free-flowing hair, and specializes in balayage, color, curly cuts and long flowing layers. She is a colorist at heart, and loves creating custom shades for her clients. Her overall goal behind the chair is to make you feel like the best, most confident version of yourself.
Her passion for ongoing education in the hair industry has led her to pursue teaching. She is an educator for the sustainable haircare brand, Davines, and travels through the bay (and beyond!) teaching advanced education to other hairdressers. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys attending advanced trainings all over the country. Some of her most notable trainings have been with Davines, Devacurl, Sally Rogerson, R&co, and many more.
When Eden isn’t in the salon or in a class, she enjoys baking, seeing live music, and going to art museums.

Ryan
Ryan is a color specialist of 5 years. He also offers lived in, wearable haircuts. His specialty is beachy, lived-in, natural color, blonding, highlights, and grey blending. He loves transformative looks and creative color. Ryan’s number one goal is to maintain the health of your hair while also providing beautiful results. After moving to San Francisco from Sacramento, his career in hair artistry took off. Ryan has extensive training under Avenda, Tigi, R&Co, Wella, and Redken. He has worked with and trained under many well known stylists and salons from San Francisco to LA. Ryan is excited to have found his new salon home here at Scarlet and is eager to welcome you to his chair!

Soso
Soso’s here to make your dream hair a reality! Soso loves big color projects from one side of the spectrum to the other, from pearlescent blonding to wild fantasy color hair. They use their razor cutting to help release their client’s inner self, whether they’re going for 80’s glam star or soft, delicate, and romantic. They are deeply inspired by flappers of the 1920’s, pinups of the 1950’s, and the rock and roll trifecta of the 1960’s-80’s. Their current favorite modern trend is color blocking and the shullet. Soso’s daily goal as a stylist here at Scarlet Salon is to help their clients feel like the most authentic versions of themselves through some rockin’ hair.
Soso’s career as a hairdresser has involved studying under and working at prestigious Bay Area salons since 2018. Having worked at Harper Paige and Edo, Soso crafter their signature approach to intensive blonding, punky colors, and razor cuts. Soso can’t wait to help create your outer expression of the self!

Sierra
Sierra is a Bay Area native who has a life long passion for creativity. On her free time she indulges in other art forms like painting and sculptures. Sierra is Aveda trained, starting her career kicking down the doors of prestigious salon Cowboys & Angels San Francisco. Where she apprenticed under stylists trained in Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques.
As well as receiving training in advance Wella color theory. She then went on to harness the power of texture with education with Diva Curl and Innersense. Since breaking into the industry in 2018 She places wellness at heart of her mission. Finding fulfillment in helping guests connect with the beauty they feel on the inside, so they can fully embody it on the outside.
Sierra has a versatile arsenal of skills acquired, ranging from hand sewn extensions to punky haircuts and classic glam looks. She is inspired by the funky drama of 70’s styles and shaggadelic looks. Sierra’s specialties include applying precision hair cutting techniques to dry curly cuts, mullets, shags, pixies and bobs. Her color artistry shines through bold creative colors and customizable blondes. She believes in continuous growth, and enjoys refining her craft through advanced education on the latest trends and techniques. Sierra can’t wait to work with you at Scarlet Salon and help guide you to those dreamy hair goals!

Sarah
Sarah’s esthetic is lived in and low maintenance hair. She is also certified in Deva Curl hair cutting/styling and Sassoon shear + razor haircutting techniques. Maggie
Maggie is a true hair magician, she is a color and extension specialist. Maggie is also well versed in haircutting and special occasion styling. With a background in fashion she enjoys and excells in creating a whole new look or modernizing an exciting style.
Her 18 years in the industry have developed her into a true accent to our salon. In her down time she enjoys hot yoga, cooking for her friends and working on her jewelry ling, brass umbrella. Maggie loves to create beauty, and spread joy!

Mary
Mary started her career apprenticing under a master stylist in Atlanta within an Aveda salon. She returned home to the bay area in 2016 and continued seeking education and honing her craft of coloring and hair cutting.
Mary specializes in polished every day looks that are low maintenance for her guests. She really enjoys long layered cuts, grey blending with color or well placed highlights, and dimensional highlights. She loves collaborating with guests to create a look they will love long after they leave her chair.
Mary believes in keeping the spirit of a student by constantly seeking education. Especially with techniques that can be used to expedite services, while still promising a comfortable and enjoyable salon experience for guests. Some of her more extensive training has been with Aveda, Redken, Davines, R&Co, and most recently French hair cutting with Candy Shaw.

Itzel’s passion lies in crafting vivid colors, long layered cuts, medium length styles, shags, and infusing a touch of sparkle with tinsel. Her aesthetic blends elements of glam and rock, reflecting her dynamic personality. committed to growth, she diligently pursues ongoing education through color and cutting classes, ensuring she remains at the forefront of her craft, ready to inspire and transform her clients looks with each appointment.
Itzel, an Oakland native, finds joy in life’s vibrant hues. Transitioning from her role as a florist in 2020, she embarked on a new path in the styling industry, honing her skills at the Aveda Institute in San Francisco. Farthing her expertise, she apprenticed and served clients at BIBO salon in Oakland.
